Is there a dress code?
No! We want our guests to be comfortable – you are welcome to dress up or down as you like.
Do you have a gift registry?
No, and we’re not expecting gifts. We’re just happy to celebrate with you! However, if you do want to give us something, then donations towards our honeymoon or to our favourite charity are welcome.
What’s for lunch?
We need to pre-order everyone’s menu choices a couple of weeks before the reception, so will send menus nearer to the time. It will be a typical pub menu with vegan and vegetarian options available – check the à la carte menu here for a rough idea of what we’re expecting to be available.
Photos and video at the reception
We’re happy for you to take discreet photos and videos but would ask that you please kindly keep these to a minimum. We are hiring a professional wedding photographer for the event and we’ll share a link to a gallery where you can download all the photos after the event. We will reach out by email to everyone who sent an RSVP even if they were not able to attend, and we will also make sure to place a link on this site – although please note that the gallery will not be available indefinitely.
Can I bring my pet?
The pub itself is pet-friendly, but we would ask that you don’t bring pets into the reception (Daisy sadly won’t be able to attend).
What are some nearby useful amenities?
If you need to pick something up, there is a Sainsbury’s Local two minutes away on the same road as The Alma. Wandsworth Shopping Centre (Southside) is about a 10-15 minute walk away.
Best coffee or breakfast spot nearby?
There are a few good options on Old York Road if you arrive a little early and peckish. If you are happy to venture a little further afield, Café Fleur is a personal favourite for a nice breakfast. Gabs-approved coffee can be enjoyed at Story Coffee.
